To be honest, sometimes I really struggle when I need to define a concept for my next personal shoot or set a straight direction where a project needs to go to. I know that I love minimalistic approach, natural light and melancholic mood – the rest is pure improvisation. My favourite gigs are the ones with an approximate direction, when you vibe with a model you are working with, and when you both leave plenty of space for experiments. That's kind of shoot we had with Lucy Chappell several weeks ago. Without planning too much I eventually had results I'm absolutely happy with and our collaboration ended up being featured on ONFILM MAGAZINE. For this shoot I was using Fuji Pro 400H and Kodak Tri-X 400 films – both medium format and 35mm shot through Pentax 645n and Canon A1. All developed and scanned by Canadian Film Lab.
