I can't say trekking Snowdon summit was the hardest thing I've ever done, but it definitely was something more than just an easy walk on a fresh air. We took Pyg Track to get to the top of the mountain and Miners Path to come back. The whole trip took us nearly 9 hours – a bit longer than “usual” 4-6 hours, mentioned on most Snowdonia related websites. That's probably because we really took our time and made as many stops as we could to enjoy the views and take pictures. The most incredible things happen on the Snowdon summit, which is diving into the cloud every other minute. One moment you find yourself in a thick fog and then, about 40 seconds later it's a clear blue sky again. That was a once in a lifetime experience of literally walking in a cloud.
